Passionists
- PassionistsUniversity of Ulster graduate exhibition, June 8th, 2012.
- The Passionists are a Roman Catholic congregation who aim to highlight the importance of community life and the suffering of Jesus Christ on the cross. They were founded by Saint Paul of the Cross around 1720, and are known as a congregation opposed to an order.
Having grown up near a Passionist monastery, I have been involved in their masses and celebrations from a young age and wished to photograph both the professed and the student priests, especially as there are very few younger people who have been called to a religious life.
